What's New in EDDI 6.5.0

The highlights of this release, what each one is for, and where to read more.

19 LLM Providers

xAI Grok, DeepSeek, Moonshot Kimi, Alibaba Qwen, Z.ai GLM, MiniMax, OpenRouter and Groq each get a type of their own. A key is all you configure: the endpoint, regions, default model and each vendor's reasoning quirks come from a preset, and the Manager groups every provider in one picker.

Knowledge Bases That Fill Themselves

Point a knowledge base at a website and EDDI crawls it within robots.txt, or drop in PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and text files. Sources run on a schedule, skip what has not changed, remove what has gone, and keep a history of every run.

Knowledge bases and RAG →

Upgrades That Keep Conversations Going

Save a new agent version as compatible with the previous one, and conversations already running continue on it instead of being ended. Before you deploy, the Manager shows what the deploy does to the conversations on every other version.

Configuration-as-code →

Watch a Discussion as It Happens

A dashboard for a running group discussion: each member's current stance, live cost, bids and directional turns, with a switcher for earlier rounds. A vote that turns a proposal down now ends as a rejected decision, not a failure.

Multi-agent orchestration →

Sharing People Can Use

Share with people by name from a directory of signed-in users, and they are notified. A link to something you cannot open lets you ask the owner for access. Editors can keep their own keys in a space, and a review shows everything that is shared.

The EDDI Manager →

Operate and Observe

Every LLM call now reports latency, tokens and errors on every provider. MCP clients sign themselves in through OAuth. The chat shows which tool an agent is using as it happens, and a caller can hand an agent a credential for one turn only.

Observability →

Also in This Release

  • A security review round of about 30 fixes across template injection, outbound requests, vault keys, secret scoping, workspace authorization and channel identity, each with a regression test
  • Agent export and instance-to-instance sync carry parser dictionaries along with the agent, and sync reports what it did
  • Claude 5.5 and GPT-6 in the Manager's model suggestions
  • Fixes for first boot after an upgrade from EDDI 5, and many smaller fixes across the Manager, the Chat UI and the engine
